Norvin Acabo, Owner and Head Chef at Asian StrEAT Sawtell, ​brings extensive experience from five-star hotels in the ​Philippines and abroad, specialising in Japanese and Asian ​cuisines. His global culinary journey included eight years on ​prestigious cruise ships. Sponsored to work in Australia in 2015, ​Norvin took over Ongki Bowl in February 2023, rebranding it to ​Asian StrEAT to focus on modern Asian street foods. The new ​menu features dishes from Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, ​reflecting a community-centered, eco-friendly vision. Norvin ​takes pride in his Filipino Adobo and sushi creations, ensuring ​fresh, memorable dining experiences.
